Understands the organization is charitable and in order to maintain its federal tax exemption it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax-exempt purposes procedures for addressing the conflict of interest: an interested person may make a presentation at the governing board of committee meeting, but after the presentation, he/she shall leave the meeting during the discussion of, and the vote on, the transaction or arrangement involving the possible conflict of interest.”

“The organization will make their application for recognition of exemption and annual information returns available upon request without charge except for a nominal fee for reproduction and actual postage costs. Annual information returns will be available for three years after filing.”

Otherwise, the governing documents and conflict of interest policy will be provided to the public at the discretion of management.”
