“Our mission is to come together as a community of waterman and actively prevent active duty military, veteran and 1st responder depression, anxiety, ptsd and suicide. By physically connecting with them and sharing the healing powers of the ocean, rivers and lakes via outdoor physical and recreational activities.”

“Surfing saturdays are held every 3rd saturday of the month at the same location (dolphin plaza, hanna park) and same time(8 am) in order to create consistency for our ohana. Tfh1 provides free soft-top surfboards to use, free surf instruction, beach activities for our ohana and their families. Additionally, multiple individuals from within the local community volunteer their time and equipment for our ohana to use, such as, outriggers and wave skis. Tfh1 strives to make it a stress free event where our ohana can just show up to talk story, surf, or just hang out with others with the same experiences.”
