Supplemental Narrative

Additional Explanations

Part I. Line 1 and 2.

This fiscal year marked a significant transition for Fool House, as we acquired and began developing our first dedicated physical space. This milestone shaped both our programming and financial profile for the year. Due to the demands of securing and preparing the venue, we produced fewer artistic projects and events than in previous years. Instead, much of our time and effort were devoted to transforming the space into a functional, community-centered cultural venue. We made capital investments totaling approximately $18,000 in leasehold improvements and essential infrastructure, including hardwood flooring, mirrors, curtains, chairs, and theatrical risers. These purchases are not reflected in the Statement of Activity, as they were recorded as fixed assets rather than operational expenses. To support this long-term development, we focused our efforts on community fundraising and donor engagement, which is reflected in our income composition. We are proud of the momentum and community support weve built, and look forward to returning to a fuller slate of programming next year with greatly expanded capacity.
