“Scale rensselaer concept - critical governance, management & contractual recommendations for consideration by the crc (innovation and entrepreneurship) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ in september of 2024, after months of discussions between the rensselaer county indistrial development agency (rcida) and rensselaer polytechnic institute (rpi) to advance the concept of creating "scale rensselaer' -- an innovative technology accelerator modeled after mit's 'engine' -- technology management institte, inc. Was awarded a contract for the period 9/12/24 to 5/31/25. Technology management institute, inc. Contracted to provide dedicated support to the crc (rensselaer county capital resource corporation)board to support the crc board's oversight, strategic assessment and budgetary decision-making. Under the terms of the contract, technology management institute, inc. Has provided the crc with recommendations on governance issues, management structure and contractual matters. In october 2024, tmi provided enhanced support in advancing the program. The contract with the rcida board is for 270,000, which will be paid in two installments of 145,000 each: the first installment was paid in 2024 and the second installment will be paid in 2025. Accomplishments --------------- in decembere 2024, the rensselaer county legislature approved the county executive's 2025 budget, which included 8,000,000 for this initiave, in which technology management instutite, inc. Will be a participant. It is thought that this award promises to provide a transformational program for the region.”

Was engaged to produce an authoritative 'white paper' designed to inform and persuade stakeholders in the federal govermnet of the challenges in sustaining the strategic competitive advantage of the united states in the global semiconductor industry -- focusing on the implication for national security. Initially, 150,000 was budgeted/approved by rcida for this program for the period 8/1/24 - 12/31/25. Prior to the diversion of funds, accomplishments included identification of a set of critical questions/issues, planning of in-depth interviews and analysis, creating a plan to identify and analyze key trends/insights and developing plans to report findings and recommendations to senior federal policymakers.”
