“Veteran non profit- the principal purpose of this organization is to address mental health, substance use, re-integration, and suicide in the special operations veteran community locally and nation-wide. 1: we facllitate the training of veteran mentors who are also military veterans. We connect veteran volunteers with agencies like the va, nasw, nami, pesi, and facilitate their training as a professional veteran peer support mentor. We also have developed our own in-house training with two board members who hold relevant phos. In-need veterans are then connected with either a local, regional, or national mentor. The job of the mentor is to provide support, guidance, and connection to resources. 2: the forever frogmen acts as a connection vehicle, with an ever expanding national database of businesses, agencies, and people that specialize in helping veterans. 3: the forever frogmen sponsors multiple local, regional, and national community and connectivity gatherings, focused on bringing in-need veterans back into a supportive community, connecting them with mentors, and connecting them with available resources. 4: we act as advocates for veterans and veterans' issues. 5: forever frogmen conduct and sponsors awareness campaigns, focusing on veteran mental health, substance use, re-integration, and suicide. 6: forever frogmen, upon vote of the bod, will monetarily sponsor a veteran who is in need of immediate care. 7: forever frogmen conducts local, regional, and national fundraising events, which include raffles, auctions, in person events. We also directly solicit veteran friendly businesses for sponsorships. Forever frogmen is governed by a board of directors that is llmited to 11 members and five executive officers. The board of directors hold monthly meetings. The board of directors oversees and advisory board, that consist of members nationwide that are committed to the mission of the forever frogmen. When indicated and where there is a need or when there is an event, the board of directors sanctions the formation of temporary quick response teams that work under the advisory board. Quick response teams carry out and agenda in line with the underlying mission, and all they do is voted upon and sanctioned by the board of directors. The board of directors meets quarterly to specifically address finances and fiscal responsibilities. Finances are overseen by a professional accounting professional. The president of the board of directors conferences with the forever frogmen lawyer quarterly or when needed to discuss ongoing business and legal responsibilities and considerations.”
