“Part I, Line 10 ? Grants and Similar Amounts Paid: A grant of $39,500 was given to Nationwide Childrens Hospital Foundation, 525 E Mound St, Columbus, OH 43215, to support the nurses in The Heart Center. The funds were disbursed in a single installment on November 13, 2024, and were used in accordance with our mission to provide the best care for children within pediatric cardiology unit. Part II ? Balance Sheet: The decrease in total assets from $13,508 to $4,737 is primarily due to planned program expenditures during the year, including a grant to Nationwide Childrens Hospital Foundation and operational costs associated with fundraising and outreach activities. No unusual or unplanned expenses occurred. Part III, Line 28a and 28b: In November 2024, the organization donated $39,500 to an endowment fund at Nationwide Childrens Hospital Foundation to support The Heart Center. Of this amount, $5,000 was awarded as a scholarship to a nurse advancing her training in pediatric cardiology (reported as a grant to an individual). The remainder of the donation was used by the hospital to purchase an audiovisual system for the catheterization lab. The full $39,500 is reported as program service expenses under Line 28a.
