The high point market is historically held twice a year with a spring and fall event and is traditionally open to the home furnishings trade only. Hpxd inc seeks to reinvent high point, nc as a year-round hub of design and creativity open to all. Currently the organization is a group of approximately 60 flagship showrooms, that historically were open to the trade only during the famed twice-annual high point home furnishings industry trade market. Primary initiative of the group is the reframing of high point from a restricted trade town with limited opening hours to a dynamic year-round destination for all with phased opening of showrooms. The organization seeks to rebrand and open high point as a year-round hub of design and creativity open to the trade,design enthusiasts and the community. Activities include establishing and promoting a phased calendar of events

PRIMARY INITIATIVE OF THE GROUP IS THE REFRAMING OF HIGH POINT FROM A RESTRICTED TRADE TOWN WITH LIMITED OPENING HOURS TO A DYNAMIC YEAR-ROUND DESTINATION FOR ALL WITH PHASED OPENING OF SHOWROOMS. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO REBRAND AND OPEN HIGH POINT AS A YEAR-ROUND HUB OF DESIGN AND CREATIVITY OPEN TO THE TRADE,DESIGN ENTHUSIASTS AND THE COMMUNITY. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ESTABLISHING AND PROMOTING A PHASED CALENDAR OF EVENTS.
