Part III - Statement of Program Accomplishments:Emergency Food Assistance IMPACT continues to serve the communities of SE Pinal County, NW Tucson and SE Pima County. These areas are predominantly rural, with many low to moderate income households, and demand for services continued to grow this past year. Our Food Bank participation grew slightly in number of individuals served, from 4512 to 4568 unduplicated individuals, but we saw many new clients among those numbers. On average, more than 1434 households of diverse ages, race and ethnicity received emergency food assistance throughout the year. We provided fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meats and dairy to supplement our shelf stable distribution. Up to 38 children in the Vail area, who were identified by school counselors as being at risk of having no food over the weekends, went home each Friday afternoon with backpacks that included six meals and two snacks to curb weekend hunger. Overall people had better access to food and ate more nutritionally. We worked diligently to reduce hunger in our communities, and to provide nutritional education to help them make better food choices and improve their health. Toiletries were also supplied through the Food bank, including personal hygiene items as well as household needs such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and other things that cannot be purchased with food stamps. Clothing Bank - IMPACT of Southern Arizona funded the clothing distribution program including the value of clothing donated to this program. Community donations and IMPACT purchases make this program possible. We are open five days each week, and serve an average of 650 households each year, this year our outreach increased more than 11% reaching more than 1925 unduplicated individuals. This program is designed not only to provide needed clothing, but just as importantly to free up household income so it can be applied to other necessities such as rent, mortgage, utility payments, medications and additional groceries. For this reason, this service is free to qualifying low to moderate income clients. Typically more than 5000 items were distributed each month. Overall we distributed more than 60,000 clothing items to area households.Senior Meals Program - IMPACT of Southern Arizona funded the Senior Center and related activities this past year. The number of seniors receiving home delivered meals or who chose to attend the congregate meals program continues to increase each year, especially in our homebound population. New activity and commercial kitchen facility with a larger kitchen and dining space to accommodate the growing number of local struggling seniors. We hosted a variety of activities to foster an environment that helps seniors thrive as they age, and allows them to stay in their homes independently as long as safely possible. We served more than 24,500 meals to seniors last year, with 88% of those being delivered to the homebound. We have a new Program Manager and will be adding cooking classes for our seniors to give them ideas of easy recipes to prepare for one person, and with nutritional value added for the aging body. Youth Programs - IMPACT of Southern Arizona funded youth education, literacy and science programs providing free books to low income children each month, reimbursement opportunities to area teachers up to $135 for curriculum enrichment materials, school library literacy web services, funding for science and other educational opportunities for more than 2000 students. IMPACT of Southern Arizona hosted its annual Youth Day celebration in Catalina which serves as an agency fair to connect people in the area to service providers who can improve and enrich their lives. Typically more than 400 people attend, and are fed a free lunch BBQd by IMPACT Board Members. Expenses incurred during the holiday season included Christmas gifts, seasonal clothing, jackets, hats, gloves, etc. Our Back to School program supplied more

Management of IMPACT considers the likelihood of changes by taxing authorities in its filed tax returns and recognizes a liability for or discloses potential significant changes if management believes it is more likely than not for a change to occur, including changes to the organizations status as a not-for-profit entity. Management believes that IMPACT met the requirements to maintain its tax-exempt status and has no income subject to unrelated business income tax, therefore, no provision for income taxes has been provided in these financial statements. IMPACTs Form 990, Return of Organization Exempt from Income Taxes, is generally subject to examination by the IRS for three years after the date the return was filed.
