Stardust provides quality reclaimed material for reuse. We see a future without waste; a sustainable community where resources are reused or redistributed.

The primary mission of stardust is encouraging reuse and repurposing in our community through innovation, education and partnerships. This includes diverting reusable building materials from landfills into the hands of others who can use them.

The compensation committee of the board approves compensation for the executive director and the executive director's direct reports. The compensation guidelines for all other employees are determined by the annual budget process. The board examines the arizona state university non-profit compensation survey and records discussion and actions in their minutes

GIFTS IN KIND GIVES NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ACCESS TO LARGE QUANTITY AND BULK DONATIONS OF USABLE MATERIALS SUCH AS DIAPERS, OFFICE SUPPLIES AND BEDDING RECEIVED FROM LOCAL RETAILERS. REPRESENTATIVES FROM ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS ARE GIVEN 20 MINUTES TO SHOP IN THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER FOR ITEMS THAT MEET THEIR CLIENT'S NEEDS OR OFFSET THEIR OPERATIONAL COSTS. SINCE INCEPTION IN JULY 2012, GIFTS IN KIND HAS PROVIDED GOODS TO 300 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND TOUCHED THE LIVES OF OVER 300,000 PEOPLE IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY.
