Tiempo has a project owner's and management agent's certification for multifamily housing projects with the u.s. Department of housing and urban development. Under this certification, hud has approved tiempo to manage the santa cruz apartment community.

All member-directors must at all times also be individuals who are either members of the board of directors of chicanos por la causa, inc., an arizona nonprofit corporation ("sponsor") or non-members of the board of directors of the sponsor who have the approval of the board of directors of the sponsor.
