Get Inspired - We aim to invite the best of the immigrant community through TIDE Leadership Talks.Fellow immigrants will hear the stories of resilience, inhibitions,successes and setbacks from role model immigrants. They will get an opportunity tounderstand the mindset, motivation and methods of successful immigrants. 2. Find or Provide Mentorship Opportunities - Early mentorship amongimmigrants has proven to drive professional success especially in an adopted country. Through our vast TIDE network, we strive to provide a platformfor immigrants to benefit from the TIDE Mentorship Program that connects mentors and mentees. 3. Create Corporate Level Advocacy - We aim toprovide a development and advocacy platform for foreign-born immigrant workers in Corporate America. We aim to drive awareness, develop focusedprograms and create corporate level advocacy with a focus on corporate leadership inclusion for all immigrant groups.4. Develop a Network of Allies -Through the TIDE platform we shall strive to create opportunities for immigrant communities to develop a strong network based on their field, interestarea, or country of origin. The focus will be to connect, develop and coach each other during the immigrant journey. Akshay Grover, Rajul Vasishtha andHarsh Grover, the Directors, and other officers of TIDE will be the primary organizers of the activity. They will also accept assistance from volunteers whoare passionate about immigrant causes to: support identification, inclusion and reach out immigrant communities; refine existing and /or develop newprograms; maintain organization compliance, website and manage operations; provide mentor match assistance and services; build relationships withcorporations, universities, counties and state officials. This activity will occur within California, but will feature national outreach. Specifically, theactivities will be managed from the organization head office at 2719 Salisbury Way San Ramon CA 94582. Our public facing website can be found atwww.theimmidevelopment.org TIDE anticipates that the collective time across the four (4) programs will be spent as follows - 1. Get Inspired (25%):Review & vet immigrant speakers, workshop preparation, solicit immigrant attendees, market the event, accept donations, deliver and post eventfollow-up. 2. Find or Provide Mentorship Opportunities (35%): Develop mentorship programs, enroll mentors and mentees, perform screening andreference checks, maintain mentor exchange platforms, resolve issues and drive SMART results. 3. Create Corporate Level Advocacy (20%): Buildrelationships with corporations, universities, counties and state officials to identify and reach out to immigrant communities, create awareness aboutimmigrant issues and facilitate program creation across the institutions. 4. Develop a Network of Allies (10%): Develop affinity groups for immigrants tonetwork based on country of origin, field and interest areas. Maintain and facilitate the groups to foster further upliftment. 5. Other AdministrativeActivities (10%): Maintain non-profit compliance, donation and volunteer management, research, and outreach. The four program activities aredesigned to generate name recognition for the TIDE organization. We plan to fund the activities as follows- seek financial support from national donorswho support the cause of immigrant upliftment (20%); grant funding made available to TIDE (10%); recurring and annual fundraising campaigns (25%) ;sell tickets for TIDE events, charge fee for attending mentorship programs, deploy TIDE platform in Corporations, and charge fee for joining the TIDEnetwork (30%); donation requests during volunteer, mentor or mentee sign up (15%).TIDE focuses solely on immigrant development and provides awide variety of programs and services that are structured to meet the immigrant needs. | - | - |
