“Danny's ride is a charitable organization that provides rides to individuals living in recovery with substance use disorder. Using uber and lyft, the individuals in recovery who lack access to transportation receive free rides to their recovery services such as outpatient treatment and medication assisted treatment.”

“Rideshare: danny's ride provided 24,346 rides to 2,694 individual riders,covering 222,591 miles to people living in recovery with substance use disorders. 35% of all rides took people to outpatient treatment appointments, 22% were rides for employment and job interviews; 8% for medical appointments; and the remaining 35% included rides to legal meetings, community programming, aa and na meetings, and community volunteering. Key accomplishments include adding six new partners to danny's ride, including an organization in new jersey, several human service organizations, and a drug and alcohol division of another pennsylvania county, bringing our total to four counties that contract with danny's ride for their transportation needs that cannot be met with existing local bus service. Providing five times the number of rides in 2024 than we did in 2023; 3.5 times the number of riders and nearly 4 times the number of miles travelled. Broadening awareness and scope of danny's ride throughout pennsylvania, new jersey and beyond.”
