This provides a pathway to stable employment that elevates lives, and helps break generational cycles of poverty. After graduation, tiyara scholarship recipients typically increase their family's income from 2 to over 6 times. They help support siblings, parents and are often intentional about giving back to the community. We work with well established local partner agencies on the ground.”

“By the end of the fiscal year, 77 tiyara alumni had graduated on tiyara scholarships, and there were 40 current scholars being supported in india and thailand through 7 local partner agencies. The scholars come from diverse backgrounds of indigenous and socially oppressed groups. Alumni and scholars are spread across diverse sectors ranging from aviation, health, hospitality, engineering, medical and law to name a few. Tiyara scholarships support scholars until they graduate. By the end of fy 2024, 74 graduated on tiyara scholarships. 38 scholars were actively funded during fy 24. An mou was signed with a partner in northern thailand, and the first tiyara scholarship was extended to an underserved scholar there.”
