“Set free refuge, inc. Is a safe place for sexually exploited and human- trafficked women to break free from the mental and physical bounds of the sex industry.”

“The refuge is a transitional home for young women ages 18-24. Our home is a yearlong program helping foster care children, runaways, or homeless teens transition into adulthood in a safe and healing environment. These young women have access to wrap-around services including medical care, mental health treatment, peer mentorship, adulting 101, and much more. Services available for csec (commercially sexually exploited children) survivors, sexually exploited, or sex trafficked young women. We have three young women living in our housing currently. This program is supported by our residential coach and peer mentor.”

“The counseling program provides a range of mental health services to help heal the mind and body in a wholistic way. We offer trauma-informed therapeutic services to survivors of sexual abuse, incest, sexual exploitation, and sex trafficking. Each of our therapists brings a unique approach to therapy using their chosen modality of art, emdr, or tf-cbt.”

“The education/awareness program provides educational resources and materials. We offer a free book about human trafficking to bring awareness to the national crisis. Additionally, we provide training on mental health service delivery to survivors of human trafficking and sexual abuse.”
