“Through the projects and initiatives carried out in 2024, coordinated and/or supported by Roble del Sur Foundation, we are promoting civic engagement among young people across South America; nurturing a culture of peace by enhancing Religious Freedom; and bettering communities and community life by contributing to form educated, trained and upright young leaders. Among the main projects in 2024 were: i) The 6th edition of Seminario SUDamericano, Roble's flagship event, held in Lima, Peru, which for 4 days brought together more than 50 participants, including new members of the Foundation, participants from previous editions, regional leaders of the Foundation from 10 South American countries, distinguished speakers and organizational staff; ii) A week-long Leadership Development Program promoted in Utah, in partnership with The Stirling Foundation, for 7 Foundation's regional leaders who received training and paid visits to programs and facilities from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in order to increase the sense of leadership based on Christian principles (april 2025); iii) Dozens of webinars and virtual thematic meetings that created work agendas for the Foundation's areas of activity and organized its members to act throughout South America; iv) Six national seminars held in person in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia (june-september 2025), with small hybrid meetings (in person and virtual) in four more countries (Ecuador, Venezuela, Uruguay and Paraguay), and a South American regional seminar to be held in November 2025.”
