“Food security- everyone deserves to know from where their next meal will come and low income should not equate to low nutrition or quality. 1. Weekly food distribution-every thursday, nhn uses a discreet, contactless delivery system to distribute fresh produce, meats and other food items sourced from several local food producers to approximately 130 local households. 2. Saturday pop up-each week nhn is open from 11am-2pm for neighbors to "shop" for additional food, basic needs and household items, clothing (as available) and more. 3. Growing together: community garden-as a part of a larger program, nhn's garden project was launched in 2024 to encourage a community-wide shift in mindset to healthy options by offering readily accessible produce. Nhn provides a much needed space within walking distance, for some of our neediest residents to eat, share, co-create, and grow. 4. Senior basic needs assistance-nhn provides a monthly, contactless delivery of toiletries and basic need items monthly to all 53 units at the low-income senior living facility, greenfield commons. 5. Benefit support-nhn provides referrals to community members who are unaware of or unable to apply for local, county, and state resources. Our team personally helps local families access a myriad of benefits including snap, wic, and more. 6.
