“The epigenetic clock development foundation ("clock foundation") was formed to enable rigorous medical research on aging and longevity. Our research mainly involves use and development of new aging biomarkers known as epigenetic clocks for testing the effectiveness of longevity treatments within preclinical and clinical studies.”

Part-time operational and accounting support has also been hired. Campus support enables use of flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, small & large animal studies, and clinical studies too.”

“Release of universal mammalian clock & horvath mammalian array the universal mammalian clock was released in january led by the horvath lab. This has exciting implications for understanding how aging occurs across all mammalian species. It also clearly demonstrates the horvath mammalian array technology can be used for aging studies in many different species: mice, rats, minipigs, dogs, non-human primates, as well as humans. Parabiosis is effective in aged mice data submitted by dr. Vadim gladyshevs lab demonstrates that parabiosis clearly is effective in rejuvenating epigenetic age, including not only in blood but also in liver tissue. Additional parabiosis experiments are pending and plasmapharesis studies planned.”
