“Full mission statement: momentum park "where moms come first and every moment matters" is committed to optimizing the health, lives, and well-being of moms-to-be and their babies. We do this by integrating medicine, public health, and prioritizing technology to transform maternity care and elevate the overall pregnancy experience. Our signature shero programs advance perinatal health equity and justice by providing innovative, tech-driven solutions that empower black mothers and their families. We meet moms exactly where they are; in their communities and on their cell phones. Through community-based programs, technological interventions, and collaborative efforts, we reduce disparities in maternal health outcomes and strengthen the economic infrastructure of marginalized communities nationwide.”
“Full 2024 program service accomplishments momentum park "where moms come first and every moment matters" continued its mission to advance equitable perinatal outcomes for bipoc families by integrating medicine, public health, community partnership, and emerging technology. In 2024, the organization strengthened two active program sites, expanded digital solutions, and increased its national visibility through presentations, media engagement, and thought leadership. Shero nola: strengthening systems of support for bipoc pregnant and postpartum persons through its federal initiative in partnership with heluna health, momentum park advanced shero nola as a hybrid model of digital support, case management, community engagement, and culturally aligned perinatal education. Weekly and biweekly follow up connected families to resources, clinical navigation, and social support. The shero nola team expanded its collaboration with maternal health partners, community organizations, and local advocates to strengthen referral pathways and outreach. Momentum park convened the shero nola advisory board to align approaches and guide implementation across the city. Preparations advanced for the shero she shed, a physical site for mothers to receive resources, participate in group activities, and access supportive services. Shero omaha: multiracial engagement and community based perinatal support shero omaha continued to serve a diverse population of bipoc and multiracial mothers through a blend of in person events, virtual gatherings, maternal health education, and resource support. The program collaborated with community partners, hospitals, and maternal health organizations to ensure families had access to essential items, perinatal guidance, and supportive networks. Media visibility, including local news features and social media engagement, strengthened the program's reach and connected more families to services. Shero omaha continued to be recognized as a trusted resource within the regional maternal health landscape. Technology, innovation, and national prominence momentum park expanded its leadership at the intersection of maternal health and technology. The organization was featured across national media, podcasts, livestreams, and maternal health platforms, and presented its work at national maternal and child health and technology conferences. In 2024, momentum park advanced development of the new shero mobile application designed to transform access to perinatal education and support. Additionally, the organization began building shanice, an ai guided perinatal support tool scheduled for release in 2025 to extend real time guidance to mothers nationwide. Digital platforms, including the shero powered by birth by us system, were further customized to meet the needs of mothers in new orleans and omaha. Trademark filings for momentum park, shero, and shanice were completed to protect the organization's intellectual property and ensure ongoing use across digital and community based initiatives. Momentum park remains committed to scaling its impact, deepening partnerships, and advancing innovative solutions that transform the pregnancy and postpartum journey for bipoc families and communities across the united states.”
