IRS990EZ/ProgramServiceAccomplishment/DescriptionProgramServiceAccom0The Sawmill Advisory Council worked in collaboration with Albuquerque Public Schools to organize an after school program at a local elementary school. The Summer Service Learning project employed twelve young adults and one artist to create a community art piece to promote civic engagement and beautify our community. We have continued to work with different entities in school reform. The organization has continued to recruit new board leadership and work on our vision. Planning and creating community events have continued. We have worked with a high school in creating a community engagement center and supports for student success. The development of an informative website has enhanced the marketing and outreach of our organization.
