Any comments or questions are addressed with the preparer and a final draft is reviewed by the board of directors who then approve the 990. Once management is satisfied with the 990, the executive director signs the form 8879-te authorizing the preparer to e-file the return.”

Ongoing enforcement occurs through self disclosure as potential issues may arise during the member's term.
