Once it is in final draft form, it is filed with the irs. A final form 990 is posted on the board of director's section of the website prior to filing the form 990.”

“The conflict of interest policy is presented annually during the organization's orientation for new board members. When any transactions arise that might present a conflict of interest, the affected board member recuses her/himself from the vote and/or decision.”

For those who received a promotion within the year, the ed did a salary comparison on payscale.com. While there were no organization w/similar missions to nmf in nm, other similarly sized non-profits, with similar budgets were paying their assistant directors between 45,000-110,000. Other policy analysts were being paid between 34,000-85,000 based on the payscale.com survey.”

Funders and community organizations can use the directory for free and pay a subscription to build initiative pages. Funders pay a subscription for a user-friendly grants application platform.”

“Statewide town halls - each of these two-day events, convened for the people and policymakers of new mexico, focuses on a particular critical issue facing the state. The town halls produce recommendations for state leaders and are followed by a 12-18 month implementation process, through which the town hall recommendations are promoted.”
