“The mission of the matriots education fund is to connect, educate, and empower women regardless of political affiliation to engage more fully in the non-partisan electoral system. Our programs include events like: 1.presenting educational programs discussing research why women should participate in representative government, barriers to entry, and the impact their voice can have on local and state policy. 2.funding research. For example, a report titled: from city councils to congress: where are women elected to public office in ohio? 3.collaborating with various individuals to present the importance of advocating for women in the political arena. 4.conducting presentations that discuss diverse viewpoints, values-based governing, overcoming the challenges of a campaign, the available roles someone can run for, the impact they can have in their community, and why it is critical for women's voices to be around the table.”
