“In 2024 utah wild successfully executed several major programs in service of our mission. First, we participated in the western ultimate league regular season and postseason which included eight ultimate games featuring rosters of cis women, trans women, and non binary athletes. These games were broadcast for free on youtube to promote accessibility and transparency. As part of that effort, wild hosted three games in salt lake city,ut where we provided free or reduced price access to youth ultimate players as a way to highlight our athletes as role models. We also partnered with other local womens professional sports teams to produce the "beehive bash, a day-long event featuring 3 different sports as a way to raise the collective awareness of each league. We also continued to partner with several other organizations (such as big brothers big sisters of utah, stonewall sports slc, and game on sports 4 girls northern utah) throughout the year to host free clinics to teach ultimate skills, strategy, and gameplay. By giving away frisbees and volunteering our time, we were able to increase the accessibility of the sport. These clinics also served as a way to increase awareness of the sport and elevate women and non binary athletes as experts in the field. The ski town classic continued for another year supporting women's ultimate by providing a space to play high level club ultimate in the west and lower entrace fees to women's division teams in order to increase the accessibility of the sport.”
