“At our board of directors meeting scheduled November 18, 2023 all board members will be given a complete copy of the final Form 990 after it has been filed with the IRS November 15 including all schedules filled with the form 990. at that time, we will review the form line by line to ensure understanding and transparency”

“All members were required to report any conflicts of interest via email addressed to all board members monthly. If a conflict were to arise, membership eligibility and status of the involved party would be voted on by the board of directors”

“Upon request: for the year 2022, all tax documents bylaws, determination letter are made available by request for anyone. All following tax years going forward, copies of our form 990 and filed schedules minus schedule B will be made available on our guidestar profile and our website.”

“The other expenses are for our program horses, horse equipment, horse hay, supplements and feed, veterinary care and ferriercare. The horses are the foundation of our program and organization so the majority of the program expenses are centered around them. We not only have purchased everything our donated horse needs including monthly supplements due to his age and senior feed due to his age. We have also purchased program equipment to be used by program participants interacting with the horses during therapy sessions. It also covers the cost of halters, lead ropes , grooming supplies, first aid supplies, lunge lines etc. all used by program participants in therapy. Horse the size of Tommy eats aproximately 20 lbs of hay/pellets per day and goes through a bag of senior feed a week. The senior feed costs on average 29 dollars per bag and pellets 20 a bag. The horse also is on a supplement for allergies and senior suppplement regiment to help with arthritis, colic and vitamin intake. Those supplements are approx $300 per month.”
