“The organization is a media group created to showcase the city of high point north carolina on a personal level. High point discovered is empowering people by telling stories and elevating the voices of our community. The purpose of high point discovered is to highlight, with unapologetically rose-colored lens, the very best of high point. The organization goal is to create a unique, positive conversation about high point with beautiful photograpy and thoughtful story telling that highlights unique stories around town, opening doors to create opportunities and engagement from within and outside the community. The outreach is connecting people to one another and serving as an economic development within the community of high point. With high point discovered's unique and unapologetically rose-colored perspective, it creates a platform for those who are bright lights in innovation, art, education, entrepreneurship, family, food, entertainment, philanthropy, and community to collide and share their passions. Its only agenda is to share life-filled stories with fellow high pointers, north carolinians, and global citizens. Through its celebration of the city's contributors, it will serve as a catalyst for those contributors to experience greater growth, in turn fortifying the city for lasting economic resurgence and stability. High point discovered empowers those who are changing the city of high point for good, inspires others to get involved, and cultivates a sense of pride within all high point residents for the place they all call "home". Organization's major activities consist of using social media platforms, including blogs, videos, podcasts, website and other types of media to showcase, share and promote the best of the city of high point. The organization will partner with other organizations and nonprofits and sponsor/host and/or participate in events and activities all with the goal of promoting the positive aspects of the city of high point, nc.”
