The goal is to teach residents, and educate the youth of today, how everyone can reuse, re-purpose, and reduce the consumption of plastic. By growing the local volunteer community, clean miami beach will provide a clean place for residents, visitors, and a safe environment where our beautiful wildlife can thrive. Clean miami beach seeks to continue providing the miami-dade community with: healthy outside activities, ways to connect with nature, stable social interactions, a platform for education, community service hours, and mentorship opportunities.”

“Public community beach cleanups: our free, open-to-the-public cleanups bring the community together to remove harmful litter, especially single-use plastics from our beaches, parks, and waterways. These events are a powerful way to inspire civic engagement, raise awareness about pollution, and protect local wildlife. Private corporate cleanups: we partner with businesses to host customized cleanup events that align with their sustainability goals and foster team-building among employees. Corporate groups gain a deeper understanding of environmental challenges while making a direct impact on the health of our ecosystems. Classroom on the sand: this unique outdoor learning experience combines hands-on cleanup with environmental education, engaging students in real-world solutions to plastic pollution. Participants leave empowered with knowledge and inspired to become environmental stewards. Microplastic art workshops: through creative expression, these workshops turn microplastic fragments collected during cleanups into thought-provoking art. Participants learn about the impact of microplastics on marine life and how individual choices can reduce plastic waste. School presentations: we visit schools across miami-dade county, and connect virtually, to teach students about ocean conservation, plastic pollution, and how they can make a difference. Our interactive presentations are tailored by age group and designed to ignite long-term environmental responsibility. Educational tabling events: at public events, markets, and festivals our educational booths engage the public with visuals, hands-on displays, and conversations about sustainability and plastic pollution. These events help us reach diverse audiences and inspire everyday action for a cleaner planet.”
