“Pueblo cares seeks to educate the citizens of southern colorado about the benefits of receiving utility services from a privately owned utility regulated by the colorado public utilities commission over receiving them from a government owned utility service.”
“Pueblo cares worked to educate the citizens of pueblo and canon city, colorado, about the benefits of receiving utility services from a privately owned company regulated by the colorado public utilities commission over having them provided by a local government. Additionally, they worked to educate voters in both cities to vote against a plan for the local government to take over the provision of some utility services. The initiative for the local government to take over some of the utilities failed in pueblo, but passed in canon city.”
