The mission of Arrowhead Incubator Inc., is to empower Native American industry, employment, and small businesses for the social and economic advancement of present and future tribal generations and communities. Utilizing a proactive and synergetic approach, as our duty, Arrowhead Incubator Inc., delivers free economic and social expertise and networking. Working directly with tribal and non-tribal units of government, industry, and organizations, Arrowhead Incubator's purpose is providing free economic and social assistance that educates, innovates, supports, and elevates tribal communities. Through industry formulation, advancement and design, and fostering tribal and private/public sector relationships within tribal communities and those beyond, it is our directive through program activities & partnerships which addressed and created solutions towards Native American economic and social development.

Program Services

Due to COVID restrictions in Michigan AHIN was delayed in providing services and gaining funding. Despite the delay and once restrictions began to be lifted to some degree AHIN in collaboration with New Mexico Community Capital (NMCC) another 501c3 provided free Financial & Business Basic training to 17 Native Americans in Michigan. The participants were mainly low-income Native American mothers with young children in the home and/or low-income Native elders. All 17 participants of the training successfully completed training, were able to establish a start-up business, and increased household income, which supports the uplifting of tribal citizens out of poverty.$0$3,823
Due to COVID restrictions in Michigan AHIN was delayed in providing services and gaining funding. Despite the delay AHIN in partnership with NMCC and 20Fathoms, both 501c3 organizations submitted a grant to deliver a cross-cultural exchange of training. From New Mexico to Michigan Natives, free business ideation training would occur, and from Michigan to New Mexico Natives, free STEM-coding training would occur.$0$955
AHIN submitted a SEDS-GO grant through the Administration of Native Americans which would (a) establish a technological center for Native American businesses in a 12-county region of Michigan, and (b) provide Basic Business Start-up programing to establish five new Native start-ups. Additionally, four new cross-community partnerships would occur which provides services to at least 40 Native Americans in activities which increased job skills, business activities, education opportunities, etc. The grant was awarded on 9/30/2020, however activities and funds were not utilized until next fiscal year.$0$955
AHIN began working on a designing a feasibility study and pilot in the use of technology in combatting human trafficking and the pandemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman and Girls. Native woman and girls are 10x more likely to go missing or be murdered in the US. The feasibility study will include 250 participants across the nation and will help (a) identify highways, trails and waterways used by human trafficers, (b) identify dead zones within native communities where there is a lack of internet and (c) help locate anyone persons who goes missing.$0$639
