In addition to designing the program, the President finances and performs all construction and renovations to the eleven thousand square foot facility. The facility has eight seperate units, three of which will house clients for various lengths of time according to their goals and circumstances. Aprox 36 beds will be available for men ages 18 and older. Beds, linen, food, shelter and an abundant of resources are available to clients with the goal of improving their quality of life regardless of their starting point. The construction and development has cost aprox 29,500 dollars and will require added costs to obtain beds. An average length of stay in the state of wv in similiar facilities is 30 days. Kitchen was designed by CTandE equipment and design and the blueprints were created by CTandE employee Mark Holmes. | ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt | 0 | To be completely honest, this year has been the worst of my life. I began this nonprofit in late 2019 with zero experience. Almost immediately, coronavirus began and I have battled daily to find the help and support needed to successfully execute my mission. I spent my life savings on the construction amd development of the facility my organization uses and performed all construction renovation myself. I have been vandalized, broken into and just yesterday part of my facility was burglarized and I lost aprox twenty thousand dollars in tools and equipment. I have had to take on the raising of my nephew since my sister has long term effects from a mysterious virus and I have not had a paycheck for almost two years due to my intense effort on the organization. I am a full time college student at Arizona University Global and I put hours in every day trying to learn more about the nonprofit sector. I have been unable to hire help because I have not been able to officially open due to construction and inexperience. I knew I was late in filing but I was not prepared to take on the challenge of filing and due to several circumstances, I allowed too much time to pass. I attempted to file on time but was rejected. I do not want any special treatment and will accept the consequences for filing late. Thank you |
