“The purpose of the organization is to preserve and promote the history of the model a ford cars and trucks and to promote the use of the model a vehicles. Objectives: to promote and foster the study of the model a ford and to acquire, preserve, restore and make use of the model a vehicles. To gather, preserve and exhibit the model a ford and to seek, discover and exhibit artifacts, documents and historical materials. To promote exhibits and demonstrations on the changes made by the model a society. To promote, educate and encourage the preservation of the model a ford.”

“We are transitioning our club activities to a new location where there will be greater exposure to the general pubic for educating about the transition from horse drawn wagons to motorized vehicles. During 2022 our club took donations and began construction of a building located at the pioneer settlement for the creative arts in barberville, fl. The building will have a vintage gas station porch opening into a museum area. We are creating interactive tools for school aged children to utilize during their field trips, as well as displays for the general public to learn about the ford motor company from the period of the quadricycle, to the model t, and ending with the model a. We have a cut away engine on display. This engine has sections cut out in certain areas displaying theinteracti on of the inner parts of the 1928-1931 ford model a engine. In our museum area we have an actual 1930model a vehicle on display. A 1931 model a is on display outside of the building. Once completed we will be holding classes to teach about some of the mechanics of the vehicles and what makes them different from modern vehicles. In 2023, the pioneer settlement for the creative arts in barberville, fl (non-profit, ein 59-1783985) will be given ownership of the building as part of its permanent display and our organization will continue to be directly involved in its operation.”
