The boost pad equips emerging and under-resourced entrepreneurs with the strategic guidance and support needed to develop innovative solutions, build sustainable enterprises, and advance economic mobility throughout charlotte.

Inclusive entrepreneurship accelerator program: the boost pad was founded to promote inclusive entrepreneurship by supporting early-stage businesses led by under-resourced founders. In its inaugural year, the organization established its core infrastructure, developed a foundational curriculum, formed strategic community partnerships, and launched its first accelerator program. The pilot cohort consisted of a diverse group of entrepreneurs from sectors including technology, food innovation, construction, and retail services. Participants benefited from capacity-building workshops, subject-matter expert mentorship, and peer networking opportunities. The program culminated in a public pitch showcase that connected participants with potential investors and ecosystem stakeholders. Key governance structures were also put in place during this period, including the formation of a diverse and engaged board of directors. The organization adopted core operating policies, including a conflict of interest policy, to promote transparency and accountability. Through these efforts, the boost pad established itself as a credible and effective platform for advancing inclusive innovation and catalyzing economic mobility through entrepreneurship in charlotte.
