The main purpose of the association namely TCA-GPA is to organize the Tigrean, people from the norther region of Ethiopia called Tigray, community in a non-profit, non-political and non-religious setting to empower the community to solve challenges commonly faced in their newly adopted home USA. As such it is exclusively a member and volunteer-based community organization and open to all Tigreans regardless of their political view and stand, religion and gender. To this end the association plans to * Frame strategies for actions that address our needs. * Drive power from collaborated actions of our people in unity. * Help us create and build future community leaders by offering capacity building training, education and resources by inviting volunteers with the respective experts. * Bring members together to advocate and support each other. * Have our own community center.
