Program Highlights: Classroom Support: Teachers submit wish lists for items such as hands-on manipulatives, indoor games for inclement weather, and rewards to reinforce positive behavior. Grade-level teams may also use funds to support end-of-year classroom celebrations. Test Review Materials: The program funds resources for state standardized test preparation, enabling teachers to conduct creative and low-pressure review sessions that reinforce TEKS in an engaging way. Special Celebration Events: Support is provided for school-wide celebrations such as popcorn for movie day and hot chocolate during the Reindeer Run event before winter break. Field Day: Funding covers equipment and supplies for the school's annual Field Day, a full-day outdoor event held after state testing.
