“After completion and before filing of the Form 990, it is reviewed by the organization's governing body. Any suggestions or changes noted during review are made to the return prior to filing.”

“An interested person must disclose the existence of any actual or possible conflict of interest to the directors and members of the governing board. Once disclosed, the board member shall recuse himself/herself from the Board or committee meeting. Stated disclosures are then discussed and voted upon by the remaining board or committee members to determine if a potential conflict exists. The chairperson, if appropriate, shall appoint a disinterested person or committee to investigate alternatives to the disclosure. After exercising due diligence, the Board or committee shall make the final determination of whether the stated disclosure is in the company's best interest, for its own benefit, and whether it is fair and reasonable. Each member, director, officer, and member of a committee with governing board delegated powers shall annually sign a statement which affirms such person: (a) Has received a copy of this policy; (b) Has read and understands this policy; (c) Has agreed to comply with this policy; and (d) Understands the company is charitable, and in order to maintain its Federal Tax Exemption, it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax-exempt purposes.”

“The organization provides all governing documents and financial statements to the public upon request.”
