To provide a holistic approach for health self-advocacy, preventive screening, access to optimal care, and patient-family support for those military active duty, caregivers, and veterans that wear or worn the uniform. The BCMF supports women, family, and caregivers affected by the disease breast cancer by providing informational resources, peer support, in order to make an informed decision. The Foundation reaches service members, underserved communities, and the general public through outreach about education, about risk, access to care, screening with the goal of empowering women and men on becoming their own health self- advocate.
