In a joint project with the Kennebunkport Heritage Housing Trust, the Kennebunkport Heritage Housing Trust 2 acquired a donation of land from the town of Kennebunkport, Maine. The organizations have started the process to build 6 affordable housing units on this approximately 5-acre parcel and plan to finish the process in 2025. The expenses incurred in 2024 were for a settlement fee and legal fees to ensure clear title to the property, municipal planning board fees, preliminary site engineering, and a construction loan origination fee.$0$49,169

The Bylaws were amended to add the towns of Kennebunk and Arundel to the town of Kennebunkport as included in the geographic area for the organization to build affordable housing. The Board membership was increased to add representatives from those towns.

Schedule B, Part I

Kennebunkport Heritage Housing Trust 2 (KHHT 2) works jointly with Kennebunport Heritage Housing Trust (KHHT) to acquire land and build affordable housing on it. KHHT 2 manages the housiing projects and uses funds received from KHHT to pay project expenses until such time that funds from constructions loans can be obtained. The loans will paid back from fund raising, grants, and the proceeds of the sale of the housing units at affordable prices.

The Board membership was increased to add representatives from those towns.

KHHT 2 manages the housiing projects and uses funds received from KHHT to pay project expenses until such time that funds from constructions loans can be obtained. The loans will paid back from fund raising, grants, and the proceeds of the sale of the housing units at affordable prices.
