Mission

Tumaini Childrens Homes DBA: Be Their Hope Ministry primary exempt purpose is to raise funds and awareness in support of the children & staff at Tumaini Childrens Home TCH in Kenya Africa. Our organizations mission statement is to rescue orphans and equip them with the necessary skills to thrive while teaching them about the love of God. Program activities that uphold our tax-exempt status include providing daily food basic necessities and a safe place to live for TCH children and staff. We also provide an education for each of the children as well as ensure that each child and staff members health and medical needs are met.

Program Service #3: Trip to Kenya June 2023 In June 2023 a team of five people traveled to the childrens home in Kenya. ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES AND ACCOMMODATIONS WERE PAID FOR BY THOSE TRAVELING. NO DONATIONS GIVEN TO THE CHILDRENS HOME WERE APPLIED TOWARDS ANY TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL MAKING THE TRIP. This program allowed us to replace all mattresses repair door frames make structural and electrical repairs improvements replace broken windows complete painting projects install drainage pipes and a sop pit install a kitchen sink fabricate and install prep tables and chairs install shower stalls purchase basic necessities and educational supplies host a community outreach event etc.$0$24,978
Program Service #2: Transportation This program enabled us to purchase a 10-passenger van for Tumaini Childrens Home. This program has allowed the director of the childrens home to safely transport children and staff to and from the hospital in emergencies.
