“Primary exempt purpose: the regional fisheries enhancement group coalition represents and assists the currently 14 non-profit, non-partisan community based organizations working cooperatively to protect, restore, and enhance the salmonid resources of washington state, in accordance with chapter 77.95 of the revised code of washington. Form 990-ez, part iii, line 28 - first accomplishment the coalition provides a forum for ideas, develops unified positions on issues related to funding, permitting, and salmon restoration and enhancement policies. The coalition provides ongoing, consistent, professional representation, education, and advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels to promote regional fisheries enhancement group (rfeg) common interests regarding salmon restoration. The coalition monitors and, as appropriate, establishes a position on proposed legislation and legislative budgets that may affect the member rfegs. The coalition assists the rfegs in improving all aspects of program management with the washington department of fish and wildlife.”
