Mission

Parents challenge exists to empower low-income parents with educational choice in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity for an excellent education, regardless of family income. Parent's challenge accomplishes its mission by granting tuition scholarships as well as educational supplies and tutoring to children from low-income families.

To provide scholarships, grants and parent advocacy sessions to low-income families.

“Parents Challenge is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, the Organization qualifies for charitable contribution deduction. Parents Challenge believes that it does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements. The Organization's income tax returns for 2013 through the current period remain open to examination by the Internal Revenue Service and relevant state authorities.”
