Reachout crest view (rocv), crest view elementary school's parent-teacher organization, is chartered to raise funds to support academic enrichment, scholarship needs and capital improvements, provide activities and events to develop and strengthen the school community, and sponsor periodic forums and events for parent education on issues related to elementary education and children.

Exhibit 1: school and curriculum-based grants the grant review committee evaluates all grant proposals and approves or denies grants. The grants are announced at the monthly community meeting. Grants requests are evaluated based on merit and the number of students benefited by each grant. Priority is assigned to number the of students benefited, long-term benefits to crest view, and academic or cultural value. -grade level grants. Money to supplement the classroom curriculum. Funds are based on grade levels. (i.e. Kindergarten,1st grade, 2nd grade, etc.) -program grants (specialists grants). Provides funding for specific programs at crest view elementary, such as music, pe, art, special ed, esl, literacy etc. -fte teacher and fte specialists grants. Grants awarded to faculty at crest view elementary school at the beginning of the school year to purchase supplies and other necessary items to start up the classrooms in the fall. Amounts are awarded based upon fte (full time equivalent) percentages for the faculty, which are provided by the principal. -paraprofessional hours. Supplements the salary for a paraprofessional. -school copier is maintained through grant funding. Committee and special program and grants -peer mediation. A program staffed by adult volunteers, students, and crest view staff to help children mediate conflicts amongst themselves. -multicultural diversity. Program promotes diverse learning through various cultures. -art. Art teacher supplements materials for ongoing art projects and activities. -library. Librarian chooses books to supplement the current school library and to replace worn or damaged books. -makerspace. Materials are purchased for activities in the makerspace. -garden to table lessons.
