Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Joint Development Associates International, Inc. is dedicated to assist in the transformational development of local communities by helping initiate and implement projects in areas of agriculture development, clean water, poverty alleviation, infrastructure development, community health education, and emergency aid and relief.

Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
JDA International successfully concluded the Grand Valley Resettlement Program (GVRP) in 2024, marking the completion of its mission to assist in the resettlement of Afghan parolees, refugees, and SIV beneficiaries in the Grand Valley region of Grand Junction, Colorado. The program, which was designed to develop long-term relationships with Afghan families and integrate them into society, achieved its objectives with the support of over 350 community members and various churches. By mid-2024, GVRP had fully accomplished its resettlement goals for all 14 Afghan families (71 individuals) in Grand Junction. Each family was successfully integrated into the community through the program's comprehensive support structure, which included dedicated support teams, safe and furnished housing, assistance with public benefits, transportation, and employment opportunities. The program's focus on education-enrolling adults in English language courses and children in local schools-proved instrumental in helping these families establish themselves in their new environment. The provision of essential resources such as cellphones, computers, and printers enabled these families to navigate American society effectively and maintain important connections. All resettled Afghan families have now achieved self-sufficiency, economic stability, and successful integration into the Grand Junction community, allowing for the natural conclusion of the program. While GVRP has been discontinued following the successful completion of its mission, JDA International continues its humanitarian commitment by financially assisting Afghan SIV and P2 applicants still in Afghanistan who are awaiting potential evacuation. This ongoing support reflects JDA's enduring dedication to humanitarian assistance, even as the organization celebrates the successful conclusion of its local resettlement efforts.$57,996$65,233

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt4Joint Development Associates International, Inc. is dedicated to assist in the transformational development of local communities by helping initiate and implement projects in areas of agriculture development, clean water, poverty alleviation, infrastructure development, community health education, and emergency aid and relief.
IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt5JDA International successfully concluded the Grand Valley Resettlement Program (GVRP) in 2024, marking the completion of its mission to assist in the resettlement of Afghan parolees, refugees, and SIV beneficiaries in the Grand Valley region of Grand Junction, Colorado. This ongoing support reflects JDA's enduring dedication to humanitarian assistance, even as the organization celebrates the successful conclusion of its local resettlement efforts.
