“Educational conferences, seminars, and retreats are sponsored to present and discuss critical legal administration topics. These sessions also provide a forum for members to network. Participation is open to all members and is generally attended by 25-55 participants. The ala conducts annual salary and benefit surveys on more than 20 administrative positions within legal organizations in colorado. Statistics and data are broken out by geographic location, firm size, level of education, and years of experience. The surveys assist area law firms, corporate legal departments, and government legal agencies in making legal administrative salary decisions. Approximately 100 surveys are sold each year. Net proceeds are used to provide educational programs to chapter members. The ala holds monthly chapter meetings to provide members with educational information related to legal administration issues. The luncheons are generally attended by 25-55 participants.”
