“The Form 990 is made available to all members of the Bridgeway Board of Directors for their review and comments before the Form 990 is filed with the IRS. A copy of the filed Form 990 is provided to every member of the Bridgeway Board of Directors.”

“At Bridgeway's Board of Directors meetings, the members are regularly informed of the requirement for them to report any conflict of interest issues to the Board or Executive Director and/or asked if they have any questions about conflict of interest issues.”

“After voting on June 22, 2012 to begin widing down the operations of Bridgeway, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors developed a salary plan using comparability data and contemporaneous substantiation for Bridgeway's executive director for the years that it would take to wind down and liquidate Bridgeway. This salary plan was approved by the Board of Directors in 2012.”

“Bridgeway makes its governing documents and conflict of interest policy available upon request; its financial statements are availabe upon request, and on the Colorado Secretary of State's website.”

“On June 22, 2012, due to significant operating losses, the Board of Directors voted to begin the process of winding down the operations of Bridgeway. In August 2012, the last resident left the shelter. In September 2012, the Organization sold the shelter building and the land to another nonprofit organization. The proceeds will be used to pay any outstanding expenses and liabilities of Bridgeway. Any remaining cash and assets of the Organization will be distributed to other Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations with a similar mission to Bridgeway.”
