“The executive committee shall consist of the chairperson, the vice chairperson, treasurer, secretary, the immediate past chairperson, one member elected by a majority of the hospice board (the "member-at-large), and the chief executive officer with each member having the right to vote on all matters. The officers of the hospice board or the chief executive officer shall present to the executive committee for review, at its regularly scheduled meeting immediately prior to the hospice board meeting at which action is sought, all items requiring the action of the hospice board. The executive committee shall thereafter make its recommendation to the hospice board on each item for which hospice action is sought. The executive committee shall set the agenda for each hospice board meeting. At the discretion of the chairperson, the executive committee may act on behalf of the hospice board on all matters requiring a decision of the hospice board and arising between hospice board meetings. The executive committee shall report and such actions to the hospice board at the next regularly scheduled or special meeting of the hospice board and shall forego decisions on those matters which can be delayed until the next regularly scheduled or special meeting of the hospice board, or until written consent of the hospice board can be obtained.”

WE PROVIDE PAIN AND SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH THE PATIENT'S PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN THROUGH OUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS, NURSES AND SOCIAL WORK SERVICES. IN 2017, WE SERVED 706 UNDUPLICATED PALLIATIVE CARE PATIENTS IN THEIR OWN HOMES OR OUR CLINIC LOCATION FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. PIKES PEAK CENTER FOR GRIEF AND LOSS PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE BEREAVEMENT SERVICES FOR FAMILY MEMBERS OF PIKES PEAK HOSPICE AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
