“CCC Program description: The CCC (Community Crisis Connections, LLC) is a company formed as a consortium of the six community mental health centers licensed by the State of Colorado to provide mental health and related support services covering the Denver Metro area consisting of nine counties. In the summer of 2014, the CCC entered into a contract with the State of Colorado, Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health to provide mental health crisis services within the Denver Metro area. The costs for these services were funded by State General Funds and by Medicaid and third party payors. The terms of the contract allowed for 90 days of startup costs for preparing and staffing required components for delivering these services. The three major components the State required the CCC to have in place and operational on December 1, 2014 at the end of the startup period were: CSU's (Crisis Stabilization Units;) Walk-in Centers and Mobile Crisis Teams; and Respite Facilities. Aurora Mental Health Center's contribution to providing needed components included a CSU located at 2206 Victor Street in Aurora, a Walk-in Center/Mobile Crisis Team located at 791 Chambers Road in Aurora, and adult respite facilities provided at the Thomas House group home located at 16390 E 14th Place in Aurora. CCC's mission as directed by the State contract is to provide crisis services to persons with a self-identified mental health crisis regardless of age or geographical location.”
