“Policies The organization's form 990 is prepared by an independent accounting firm. Prior to the form being filed, the CFO and director of finance complete an extensive review and the final version is reviewed by the GOODWILL OF COLORADO finance committee. The 990 is then provided to the full Board at their next regularly scheduled meeting at which time the 990 is reviewed and submitted for approval by the Board.”

THE COMMITTEE THEN REVIEWS SALARY SURVEYS FROM MOUNTAIN STATES EMPLOYERS' COUNCIL (EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION SURVEY AND NON-PROFIT INDUSTRY COMPENSATION SURVEY), THE GOODWILL INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL CEO COMPENSATION REPORT AND RELEVANT 990S FROM OTHER NON-PROFITS IN THE FRONT RANGE COMMUNITY. CONSIDERATION IS GIVEN TO BOTH INTERNAL SALARY RANGE ANDTHE EXTERNAL SURVEYS, and a recommendation is presented to the Risk and Compliance committee for review and comment, then the Compensation Committee takes the recommendation to the Board for approval. THE PROCESS ALSO INVOLVES REVIEW OF EXTERNAL MARKET DATA for CEO direct report (MOUNTAIN STATE EMPLOYERS COUNCIL, THE GOODWILL INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL "DIRECT REPORTS TO THE CEO" SURVEY AND RELEVANT 990S FROM OTHER NON-PROFITS IN THE FRONT RANGE COMMUNITY) AND THE INTERNAL SALARY RANGE.”
