“The organization has members each possessing one vote. The Board of Directors is elected by the entire membership annually during a meeting with the option for mail-in ballots. Any amendments to the By-laws are subject to a vote at this meeting. Meeting minutes are recorded and shared with the membership. Additionally the auditor reviews the monthly Board meeting minutes.”

“New members of the Cooperative receive an information booklet that includes the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws. This information is also on our web site: www.mcrea.org. Board Policy No. 2-5 Member Consumer Requests for Cooperative Information establishes the rules and procedures to be followed in response to request from member consumers for Cooperative information. An annual report including financial statements is mailed to the membership and is also available on the web site.”
