Mission

To overcome bias, misunderstanding and polarization through immersive education and training that makes vivid our common humanity. Through innovative uses of sacred space and architecture, we help people, in particular faith communities, approach and engage differing worldviews.

Sharing sacred spaces builds community between diverse religious communities by sharing the sacredness of space, tradition and practice of hospitality, in order to engender a spirit of trust, friendship, and solidarity.

SEC. 301.6652-1(F), TAXPAYER RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS ABATEMENT OF ANY LATE FILING PENALTIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FILING OF THIS FORM 990. THIS IS THE FIRST 990 FILING FOR THIS ENTITY. THE PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER OF THE ORGANIZATION, SUZANNE MORGAN WAS UNAWARE THAT FORM 990 WAS REQUIRED TO BE FILED PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE ORGANIZATION'S DETERMINATION LETTER FROM THE IRS. WHILE THE DETERMINATION LETTER WAS DATED FEBRUARY 28,2020, IT WAS DELAYED IN BEING SENT TO MS. MORGAN, AND WAS NOT PHYSICALLY RECEIVED UNTIL JUNE 2020(PRESUMABLY DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.) AT THAT TIME, MS. MORGAN REACHED OUT TO OUR FIRM AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE 990 WAS NOW LATE. WE WORKED WITH MS. MORGAN TO COMPLETE AND FILE THE 990 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE UPON REALIZATION OF THIS ERROR. PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE TO ENSURE THAT FUTURE 990S FOR THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE FILED TIMELY.
