Form 990 was prepared by the outside cpa firm, reviewed by the management of the organization, and reviewed and approved by the organization's board of directors prior to filing with the irs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Under the organization's conflicts of interest policy, directors, officers, and key employees are required to complete an annual questionnaire to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interests. Directors, officers, and key employees are also required to disclose actual or potential conflicts as they arise. Under the conflicts of interest policy, the board determines if a disclosure constitutes an actual conflict of interest. The interested person may be asked to answer questions but does not participate in a vote to determine if a conflict exists. If the board determines that a conflict exists, the interested person does not participate in the vote on the transaction giving rise to the conflict. There were no actual or potential conflicts of interest because there were no business transactions or other financial arrangements with directors or officers. There were also no key employees for the fiscal year ended june 30, 2020.

Salaries for officers, key employees and all other employees are reviewed and adjusted once a year, effective as of the beginning of the fiscal year on august 1, by the executive committee of the board of directors. The committee is comprised of independent individuals.

Form 990 - Schedule O Additional Disclosure

Assignment and assumption agreement with greater philly hillel network: greater philly hillel network "gphn" entered into an assignment and assumption agreement with penn hillel (formerly jewish campus activities board t/a hillel of greater philadelphia) to allow gphn to provide services to graduate students, young professionals, and undergraduate students in the philadelphia region, as an independent legal entity, separate and apart from penn hillel. The agreement provides for the transfer of certain assets and the assumption of certain liabilities to and by gphn. Penn hillel contributed total assets, net of assumption of liabilities by gphn, of approximately $108,529 in satisfaction of such transfer. The transaction was approved of the pennsylvania office of the attorney general as well as the philadelphia county orphans court on july 17, 2020.
