To improve the health and well being of both kosher food consumers and the animals which are used in the production of kosher foods through education, advocacy and constructive action to effect positive change within the kosher animal foods industry.
Healthy Kosher was established in 2019 to develop an innovative organic kosher poultry farm in Southern New Jersey to provide educational services including the production of Standardbred kosher poultry in order to improve the health and welfare of kosher consumers as well as the animals used in the production of kosher foods. This work was to be developed through the Lev Farm established on the property.

| During 2021 the Healthy Kosher Foods Project had little activity in developing its mission. Considering the lack of proper funding of Healthy Kosher the directors have determined that a merger with Good Shepherd Conservancy Inc 83-3118858 would be in the best interests of both non-profits and would be aligned with the mission of both organizations. In late 2021 the directors of the Good Shepherd Conservancy and Healthy Kosher agreed to merge the two non-profits. This merger was deemed to be the best path forward for the mission of both organizations and was completed in the first quarter of 2022. As a result of the merger Healthy Kosher was dissolved and Good Shepherd made a commitment to use the resources garnered from the merger to support the kosher Standardbred production of poultry in alignment with the pre-existing mission and values of both non-profits as well as Good Shepherd's broader mission to support all Standardbred production. | $0 | $0 |
